Pepperoni Rolls


On tonight's agenda: The Oscars and its associated drinking games, fun times with a good friend and her baked goods...and these pizza rolls, which I spotted recently on Bon Appetit and have been dying to try ever since. I wish that pepperoni was its own food group.




These rolls are rather lovely in their simplicity...only a few ingredients, but a mouth-popping array of flavors. Flaky puff pastry, cheese, herbs, mustard and pepperoni all wrapped up in one tight little roll. Almost flavorful enough to take the bad taste of Seth Macfarlane's Oscar hosting gig out of your mouth (ZING! Topical pop culture critique. Relax, I'm a professional.)




You can find the recipe over here at Bon Appetit. They used Asiago, whereas I went for Pecorino-Romano. Try both and see which one you like better!
