Here are a few shots of costumes made for past Portland Masquerades!
I wish I had more photos of the green costume. Made the mask above by taking the green mask, creating a green rose and attaching fans of lace and tulle. The back had a large bow surrounded by tulle, and the front of the skirt was very similar to the gold one I made this year.
The red one (from 2010) was very heavily inspired by the Hindi wedding dress from Moulin Rouge!, especially in the trip, corsetry, side gather and sash:
